TO CAPITALISTS

The attention of Capitalists is particularly called to the following Mine - COPPER, SILVER, and TIN WORKS, as a safe and profitable Investment:-
The Mine is called OKEL TOR, situate to the East of Calstock Town, County of Cornwall, adjoining the navigable River Tamar, on which ships of two hundred tons can float, close to the Quays belonging to the Mine. This Mine has been worked twelve years, and is now eighty fathoms deep below the adit level, and in exploring have laid open large masses of Coppery Arsenical Pyrites, yielding ten, twelve, sixteen, and twenty tons per fathom in places, and at the bottom of the Winze, in the fifty fathoms level, the lode is yielding twelve tons of Copper Ore per fathom. In back of sixty-five fathoms level ten tons of Copper Ore per fathom. In the eighty East, five tons of Ore per fathom, which level is just entering the course of Ore discovered in the upper levels.
The Mine is thoroughly ventilated with Winzes from level to level, and sufficient ground laid open to break and raise three hundred tons of Copper Ore , and Coppery Arsenical Pyrites per Month, for many years to come. There is a fifty-inch Cylinder Engine erected for draining the Mine of water, and a twenty-two Cylinder Engine, which is used for the purpose of drawing the Ores, &c., to the surface, and for crushing the same by a very powerful Crusher attached. Besides this, there are the necessary buildings erected, and other appliances for effectually working the Mine.
It is now decided by the Company to erect Arsenical Works, also Works for roasting the Ores, and extracting and precipitating therefrom the Copper, Silver, and Tin that it contains, agreeably to Mr. Wm. Henderson's patented process. The capital for erecting these Works is already subscribed for by present Adventurers, and when completed and in operation, the following will be the results from monthly returns:-
